Recia and Ken arrived from the Pisa airport at 2 a.m. this morning. Susan and I waiting for them along a dark lonely road for about 2 hours. They finally came along and we led them to the villa in Volterra. This morning, Susan and I drove back to Pisa to pick up Karen at the Pisa airport and brought her to the villa by 2 p.m. in the afternoon. We all gathered around the pool and enjoyed the sunshine and had a delicious lunch. We visited Jim and Julie at the hospital and we also stopped in Volterra to pick up a few groceries. Supper was delicious but everyone was tired and went to bed early.
