On a quiet paved road in Tuscany
In San Gimi had a something to eat
On a curve between there and Voltera
His face and a guard rail did meet
He entered the turn with a smile But speed and the drop was
to great
The leaning skid across the Tarmac
Said recovery was not on his plate
Front wheel connects with support post
Fork snaps were it enters the frame
And he becomes an instant projectile
On a flight that will cause some pain
First to hit steel was helmet and face
Then a slide on the left shoulder blade
With 360 complete on elbow and feet
On the ground he starts to fade
The medical service has been great!
